Taken with a Canon Eos Rebel XT in bright sunlight.
Reflection of the poem “Jabberwocky” from “Through the Looking Glass” on a pair of glasses. In the book, the title of the poem and its first stanza are printed as a mirror reversed image. To read it, you are supposed to hold it up to a mirror. That is why its reflection in the glasses looks like regular text.
Even though the reflection is faint and the text is not easy to read, I liked this picture because the poem was basically centered over my husband’s iris.

In this picture, the reflection is again fairly faint, but the text’s position makes it look more like my husband is actually reading the text.

In this picture, I finally managed to get a relatively clear and easy to read reflection. It might not be a terrible artistic picture, but at least I managed to get my concept to actually work fairly well.
